PRESS RELEASE:

Marco Faraone and his pedal to the metal UNCAGE imprint welcomes the formidable Hybrasil back to label for his third outing, as the highly regarded Irishman drops the second of his two part series from his Hybrasil24 concept.

Part one of the Hybrasil24 (2022) project was released on UNCAGE late last year which came hot on the heels off the back of his third studio album for Carl Cox’s Awesome Soundwave, and he stepped in to 2023 with another authoritative release on Radio Slave’s Rekids Special Projects. It’s a welcome return to Faraone’s UNCAGE imprint, which has recently featured artists such as The Advent, Josh Wink, Dense & Pika, and Faraone himself, as Hybrasil productions fits perfectly in sync with artists of that high end caliber.

The second installment of the Hybrasil24 concept continues in imposing fashion. It kicks off with ‘Formori’ subtle yet powerful, delicate chords combine perfectly with an understated yet impeccably arranged low end percussion, which lifts you up and takes you on a journey. Following on is ‘Lugus’ where the Hybrasil raises the energy levels up a notch, yet keeps things profound and deep. This is one for moments where momentum is building and people are locked into the groove, and a big night is incoming. Track 3 is ‘Mag Tuired’ where we step into the peak time zone as the sounds get darker with a little more grit and head off on a truly hypnotic prime time excursion. Last but not least is ‘Ogmios’ where we get more mechanical, modular and experience a track that’s like riding on a freight train that’s flying past station platforms and showing no signs of stopping, An analogy that would sum up both Hybrasil and UNCAGE right now.
